With a new open system for ” Autohof” truck stops, VEDA and industrial safety experts are committed to better security, systematic monitoring and control of parking facilities and to better comfort for truck drivers and their cargo. Access control and video monitoring are the main focus of the new PREMIUM Parkings along the motorway. Any Autohof as well as any operator of truck parking areas may join this system. Their common goal is a network of powerful partners and protection against an increasing crime and cargo theft rate.

Participation
Any truck parking area that meets our criteria, and particularly “Autohof” truck stops, may join our Premium Parking system.
Certification
The „PREMIUM PARKING“ or „QUALITY PARKING“ certificates will be issued by the German truck stop trade association (“Vereinigung Deutscher Autohöfe”, VEDA).
Parking Situation
Year after year we are faced with cargo thefts worth millions of Euros. Mostly during the night, more and more trucks are being robbed. One out of every six truck drivers has already fallen victim of at least one cargo theft, and the numbers are still increasing.
